Soft-Step™
Soft-Step™ is a PVC-coated wire mesh that meets the need for safer, more sanitary
conditions in breeder and broiler houses. A low-maintenance solution for poultry
flooring and egg roll-out systems, Soft-Step slats are made from premium high
strength steel wire and protected with Riverdale’s proprietary Galvanized After
Welding (GAW) process and fuse-bonded PVC coating. This innovative construction
ensures long-lasting durability and improved sanitation.
Soft-Step outperforms traditional wood slats with easy cleaning and corrosion
resistance, and the open mesh improves air flow, reducing moisture, odor, and
bacteria.
