James M. Knott, Jr.

Chief Executive Officer

A multi-talented leader, James “Jim” M. Knott Jr. has held a variety of positions at Riverdale Mills since the company’s inception in 1980. Jim’s financial, technical and operational expertise proved instrumental as Riverdale Mills transitioned from a small start-up to an internationally recognized leader in the wire industry.

Today, Riverdale Mills manufactures 3,500 configurations of welded wire mesh, exporting forty-five percent of its products to commercial and industrial customers in the marine, security, construction, agriculture and horticulture industries.

Prior to becoming CEO, Knott founded Knott & Co., a Massachusetts-based, international consulting firm specializing in the steel and metal industries.

Jim received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Boston University and completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.


Deb Krikorian

Chief Financial Officer

Deb Krikorian oversees the strategic financial planning for Riverdale Mills. She provides leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term financial objectives to preserve company assets and ensure the company’s future.

Deb brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance and risk management to Riverdale Mills. Previously, she served as CFO/Corporate Controller for Walker Magnetics Group, a leading designer and manufacturer of electro-permanent magnetic products and systems for industrial applications. Deb received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from Bentley University.


Chuck Cassano

Executive Director of Engineering and Operations

A performance-driven engineer, Chuck Cassano implements best industry standards and practices across all operations at Riverdale Mills. Chuck oversees inventory management, central distribution, warehouse operations, and equipment maintenance. He is dedicated to discovering new product offerings while exceeding the requirements of our global customer base.

Prior to joining Riverdale Mills in 2018, Chuck launched and oversaw the production container division of Carr Management Inc. As Executive Director of Engineering and Operations, Chuck managed the requirements of the company’s diverse customer base, which included local family-owned dairies and Nestle Waters. Earlier in his career, Chuck worked in a variety of operations and management positions for Suiza Foods, Franklin Plastics and Garelick Farms. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
