The Summer Sales Intern will work side-by-side with the sales team on prospecting new leads, educating potential clients about the company’s products and services, building relationships and closing deals. This role will give an inside look at how the sales team of a fast-growing manufacturing company operates and will be a great opportunity to develop the skills required in today’s workforce. After the internship is completed, other opportunities may also become available including full-time work, leadership openings, and even managerial positions further down the line.

We are looking for a college student who is interested in manufacturing, wants to be part of a hard-working sales team, and is eager to learn new skills for professional development.

Sales Intern Requirements:

• Student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program who have completed a minimum of 2 years of college studies.
⦁ Able to commute daily (M-F) to Northbridge, MA
• High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs especially Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to stay organized, and multi-task

Sales Intern Key Responsibilities:

• Cold Calling: Making a high-volume of outbound calls (60+) to prospective accounts each day to introduce the company’s products and services to facilitate the sales process
• Database Management: Entering and tracking all calls and information generated from the calls into the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Data Entry: Working directly with the Sales team to help input customer information, sales quotes and order confirmations into the database
• General Office Support: Assisting the Sales department on all administrative tasks and projects as needed.
