Riverdale Mills is seeking an experienced sales professional/account manager to join our sales department as an Account Executive. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing a book of accounts and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously seeking and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing in new business and meeting/exceeding sales quotas and enjoys the challenges that come with prospecting in a competitive marketplace.

This is an in-office (Northbridge, MA) position that requires travel (both domestic and international) up to 50% of the time based on business needs.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Manages the entire sales cycle from prospecting new business opportunities (NBO) to closing deals
  • Present products and solutions to prospective clients by phone and in-person visits
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ needs
  • Remain in frequent contact with accounts to understand their needs
  • Respond to and resolve all issues aiming to meet/exceed customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales activities and data using CRM/ERP software program

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Minimum five years of successful business development sales with preferred experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills
  • Works well in both an inside and outside sales environment
