The primary purpose of the Manager, MRO Storeroom is to oversee the procurement, delivery, security, and inventory of material used by the Maintenance and Production teams to construct, maintain, and repair the facilities assets.

Manager, MRO Storeroom Duties
- Analyze and review daily material issues for accuracy and trends and provide feedback to maintenance/production team as necessary.
- Implement corrective actions as appropriate.
- Improve the coordination and management of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) stock supplies.
- Streamline MRO processes and ensure that the needs of the maintenance team are met.
- Enhance the Storeroom responsiveness and efficiency in support of our maintenance processes.
- Prepare monthly performance reports based on defined metrics.
- Manage and maintain appropriate internal controls for the distribution, purchase, receipt, and security of materials.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that the necessary MRO supplies are readily available, to reduce downtime, and improve overall productivity.
- Inventory management. Add and remove materials from inventory as appropriate based on specific criteria.
- Establish initial material par levels and adjust as appropriate based on volume usage.

- Develop an intermediate level knowledgebase of the iMaint Inventory Module and the implications of specific inventory adjustments.
- Perform periodic material cycle counts to reconcile the physical inventory to the iMaint inventory values.
- Develop an intermediate level knowledgebase of the SAP Purchasing Module to place orders to fulfill the needs of Maintenance and Production.
- Develop an understanding of what orders are a rush, a need, a want, and a nice-to-have.
- Develop Storeroom layouts and material assignments.
- Identify ways to improve efficiencies within the material handling process.
- Document and maintain operational processes and procedures.
- Maintain Storeroom best practices and develop and maintain an understanding of purchasing policies and procedures.
- Issue and track tools for new hires.
- Manage daily operations.
- Provide appropriate training as required.
- Develop and maintain good customer service relationships with the Maintenance, Production and Purchasing teams.
- Establish performance metrics to assess Maintenance and Production feedback.

Manager, MRO Storeroom Required Qualifications
Education/Training:
Minimally a college degree with a study emphasis in logistics preferred. Demonstrated warehouse or maintenance experience can be substituted as formal educational training.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of related warehouse experience; knowledge of accounting, storage, record keeping and inventory methods.
Skills:
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent leadership skills to fulfill the Storeroom goals .
- Experience and knowledge using SAP is a plus.
