Key responsibilities of this position include the provision of support and assistance to the Human Resources Department and the President/CEO to ensure efficient, productive interactions with staff and the public. This position will support HR with the recruiting, on-boarding of new employees, benefits and performance administration while also providing executive assistance to the President/CEO. The person in this role will also serve as front desk receptionist, answering phones and greeting visitors.

The ideal candidate will be results-driven, able to handle multiple tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in both verbal and written communication, the candidate will also possess strong administrative and time management skills. The candidate will be able to work independently, exercise good judgment and employ professional discretion at all times with the handling of confidential information. All other duties as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources Administrator
• Assist in the recruiting and sourcing of hourly production employees via all available channels to fill open positions
• Phone screen and interview candidates to assess candidate competencies and qualifications
• Schedule candidates for in-person interviews with hiring managers; solicit feedback
• Maintain application flow, set up/coordinate interviews
• Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and background checks for potential new employees
• Conduct New Hire Orientation, Safety Orientation, coordinate the employee Benefits program and ensure new hire onboarding paperwork is completed properly and timely
• Work closely with HR Manager on time sensitive projects and company events
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Executive Assistant
• Coordinate meeting schedules and travel arrangements
• Maintain up-to-date contacts database
• Manage special projects, as needed, for the CEO
• Organize and maintain confidential files and records (both hard copy and electronic)
• Establish and maintain filing systems: classify, sort and file correspondence, records and other documents
• Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate contacts, distribute mail, distribute paychecks and support the administrative needs of the HR department

Education and Experience:
• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; Paylocity or HRIS experience a plus

The Human Resources Administrator/Reception role is a non-exempt position.
