Responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates in plant positions such as machine operators, maintenance mechanics, and forklift operators; as well as select office staff. Goals will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

  • Creatively source and recruit candidates using a variety of tools including but not limited to job postings, local partnerships, virtual job fairs, and other social media platforms.
  • Develop relationship with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of their department needs supporting the ability to recruit for and fill positions with a high level of urgency and efficiency.
  • Arrange candidate interviews. Coach new hiring managers in interviewing skills.
  • Administer assessments.
  • Communicates with candidates to provide status updates on their employment consideration and maintain positive relationships.
  • Provide administrative support for all phases of candidate and new hire life-cycle process.
  • Maintain and drive a seamless process, focusing on a positive candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Maintain applicate tracking.
  • Write new job descriptions.
  • Understanding of Human Resources best practices and procedures.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes.
  • Oversee the placement of job postings (internal, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
